Children's Yoga Club – Oakfield Junior School
Objectives
Children Yoga aims to help children develop a sense of awareness of their body and emotions through exercise, sound, Breathing, balance, games, storytelling and Relaxation. It is a fun practice that offers to all children the opportunity to express themselves through their body in a controlled, precise and fun way.
Who’s it for?
The Children Yoga Club at Oakfield Junior is offered to Y3-Y6 year groups as an After School Club in the Hall in groups of 12 children
Prerequisites
No experience required
What To Bring
Children practice barefoot (usually) with their instructor on Gym mats. The class will follow school guidelines for equipment use.
Clothing
Their School PE Kit or leggings/tracksuit bottoms and Tshirt. Bring a snack to consume just before the class starts.
Location
Pick up from outside the Hall at 4.15pm
Term Dates:
Autumn Term 2025 Dates: 11 classes on 17th Sept, 24th Sept, 1st Oct, 8th Oct, 15th Oct, 22nd Oct, 5th Nov, 12th Nov, 19th Nov, 26th Nov, 3rd Dec (no class on 29th Oct half -term)

All members to join at the start of the term. Refunds and/or cancellations will only be accepted up to 7 days before the start of the term unless the space can be sold to somebody else.
