In School Classroom Yoga Classes for Pupils and Teachers

This 30mins pre-recorded class is exclusively available to local primary school children and staff to practice and experience the proven techniques that Mindfulness and Yoga based movement can bring to their classroom.

During the class, the pupils and staff will:

  • Experience the benefits of Yoga and Mindfulness for all
  • Practice a range of physical postures that will help children reset in the classroom
  • Learn different techniques for breathing to focus, energise or calm
  • Develop the attention and control centre of the brain
  • Teach elements of life skills through inspiring sessions
  • Learn how to take a truly resourceful break, which can be repeated everyday
  • No change necessary, at your desk Yoga inspired movement
  • Suits all Children, no experience necessary

Objectives

Make accessible proven techniques including breathing, mindfulness and movement to the whole school in 30mins pre-recorded classes online.
Provide a well needed wellbeing break to all teachers and pupils in school
Qualifies for wellbeing awards

Poses are Yoga inspired i.e. therapeutic movements targeting physiological benefits and adapted to the Classroom setting,

This is a pre-recorded programme, on demand online.
However, we are open to discussing in person workshops or Live classes on Zoom, please ask

Times
No set times – you will be sent access to our Online Training Platform videos to access on demand. Recommended practice: Monday and Wednesdays first thing

30 minutes class over and 8 session programme ideally over 30 days, available to replay over and over

About the Full Training Course Content (optional only, for teachers interested to train further)
By the end of the series of classes or sample class, you will have experienced the aims of our Full Training course. You may want to train further with us to deliver such classes yourself for the rest of the year. You can do this with us online with our 1 Day Online Training Course.

Upon completing the Classroom Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher Training Course , you will be able to deliver successfully

  1. Mindfulness techniques
    The Mindfulness module is both audio recorded and detailed in the course manual, getting started with simple and powerful mindfulness techniques that provide instant calm and focus, building up to include breathing practices and short guided visualisation. An audio bonus module for teachers guides you though 5 classic mindfulness practices so you can start practising yourself.
  2. Therapeutic Movement
    The Poses manual is a real asset in the classroom, with short take-away summaries for all sections, and fully illustrated simple instructions logically constructed to match the sequencing of your lesson plans and sequence builder.
  3. Full Lesson Plans
    A Manual is included to guide you through the complete school calendar. The sequence builder allows you to plans lessons of varied length. This course has been perfected to include all the key minimum and necessary knowledge that will make it both fascinating and easy to grasp.
