Description

In-Person Group Yoga Class

A rewarding way to practice Yoga together in a small group of like-minded Yogis with lesson plans grouped around a theme with progression week on week. Diligent and consistent practice will get you there, whilst seeking contentment within each practice and progression over time.

Objectives
Lesson Plans are put together to meet your individual needs as well as the group. Elements of breathing, relaxation and philosophy are layered in the class.

Who’s it for?
The pace of this class is considerate and key poses will be explored in more details however this is a dynamic paced class when you can expect to be moving to the pace of the breath for some sections of the class. Yoga experience is desired.

Prerequisites
Ideally 2 years of Yoga practice however everyone is welcome.

What To Bring
Please bring your own Yoga Mat and props as there are not available at the venue

Clothing
Leggings or loose tracksuit that does not restrict movement and is comfortable for sitting on the floor.
It may be a good idea to have short sleeves and long sleeve tops to keep cool or warm as needed.

Sessions are 1 hour; usually in sets of 5, 6 or 7 weeks term times

Teacher/s
Laurence Turner: specialises in Vinyasa Yoga, Children Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga in Schools for Children and Staff. Her other qualifications include Core Strength for All, Pregnancy Yoga, Early Postnatal Recovery (Abs separation and Pelvic Floor repair), Hypno Yoga for Birth, Yoga for Babies and Toddlers, Restorative Yoga, Corporate Yoga, and Desk Yoga.

    Laurence provides great Yoga classes, tailored both to the needs of the individual and the class. She is very friendly and welcoming, encouraging and supportive. She leads with a kind enthusiasm, sharing teachings and helping us to improve our relationship with ourselves and others.

Despite a physical class, which can be challenging in many ways sometimes as I – and my students- like it, in the end it is all about relationships.     There are many subtle aspects and layers of yoga, some of which can be difficult to teach and convey in the class. Laurence does it really well. Her lessons are full of presence, positive energy and inspiration, they set me up for the week ahead.
