Children's Yoga Club – Keston Primary School

Objectives
Children Yoga aims to help children develop a sense of awareness of their body and emotions through exercise, sound, breathing, balance, games, storytelling or rhyme based Yoga sequence and Relaxation. It is a fun practice that offers to all children the opportunity to express themselves through their body in a controlled, precise and fun way.

Who’s it for?
The Children Yoga Club at Keston Primary School is offered from Reception to Y4 year groups as an After School Club in the Small Hall in groups of max 12 children.

Prerequisites
No experience required

What To Bring
Children practice barefoot (usually) on Gym Mats with their instructor. The class will follow school guidelines for equipment use.

Clothing
Their School PE Kit or leggings/tracksuit bottoms and Tshirt.

Location
Infant Hall – Collection point for parents: Main School Entrance at 4.15 pm

Term Dates:
Summer Term Dates: 11 classes on 23rd Apr, 30th Apr, 7th May, 14th May, 21st May, 4th Jun, 11th Jun, 18th Jun, 25th Jun, 2nd Jul, 9th Jul (no class on 28th May half-term)

All members to join at the start of the term. Refunds and/or cancellations will only be accepted up to 7 days before the start of the term unless the space can be sold to somebody else.
