Description

Yogamoo™ is delighted to offer a Children Yoga School Club at St Richard's CE Primary School from Y1 to Y4 year groups. The club runs in sessions of 60 minutes over 10 weeks each term in groups of maximum 12 children. Children wear their PE clothes and practice over gym mats with their instructor.

Objectives
Children Yoga aims to help children develop a sense of awareness of their body and emotions through exercise, sound, Breathing, balance, games, storytelling and Relaxation. It is a fun practice that offers to all children the opportunity to express themselves through their body in a controlled, precise and fun way.

Who’s it for?
Children Yoga at St Richard's Primary School is currently offered to Y1-to Y4 children as an After School Club in the Hall in groups of 12 children of the school.

Prerequisites
No experience required

What To Bring
Children practice barefoot on Fitness Mats with their instructor. The class will follow school guidelines for equipment use.

Clothing
Their School PE Kit or leggings/tracksuit bottoms and Tshirt. Bring all your belongings with you to the Yoga club as children will be taken to the pick up point at the end of the class.

Hall – Collect from the Hall/Breakfast Club Door at 4.30pm

Autumn Term 2025 Dates: 10 classes on 17th Sept, 24th Sept, 1st Oct, 8th Oct, 15th Oct, 22nd Oct, 5th Nov, 12th Nov, 19th Nov, 26th Nov (no class on 29th Oct half-term)
