Children's Yoga Club – Coombe Hill Junior School – Kingston
Objectives
Children Yoga aims to help children develop a sense of awareness of their body and emotions through exercise, sound, breathing, balance, games, storytelling or rhyme based Yoga sequence and Relaxation. It is a fun practice that offers to all children the opportunity to express themselves through their body in a controlled, precise and fun way.
Who’s it for?
The Children Yoga Club at Coombe Hill Junior School is offered from Y1 toY6 year groups as an After School Club in the Music room in groups of 12 children.
Prerequisites
No experience required
What To Bring
Children practice barefoot (usually) in a circle with their instructor. Mat are provided, please feel free to bring your own Yoga Mat
Clothing
Their School PE Kit or leggings/tracksuit bottoms and Tshirt.
Location
Music room- Collection point for parents: the main School entrance at 4.20pm
Term Dates:
Summer Term 2026 Dates Part 1: 5 classes on 24th Apr, 1st May, 8th May, 15th May, 22nd May (to rebook for Part 2 after the half-term break)
