Children's Yoga Club – Collins Primary School
Objectives
Children Yoga aims to help children develop a sense of awareness of their body and emotions through exercise, sound, breathing, balance, games, storytelling or rhyme based Yoga sequence and Relaxation. It is a fun practice that offers to all children the opportunity to express themselves through their body in a controlled, precise and fun way.
Who’s it for?
The Children Yoga Club at Collis Primary School is offered to Y1-Y2 year groups as an After School Club in the Wellbeing room in groups of 12 children.
Prerequisites
No experience required
What To Bring
Children practice barefoot (usually) on Mats or Towels with their instructor. Please pack a light sports towel for your child. Yoga Mats welcome too.
Clothing
Please bring your leggings, shorts, or tracksuit to change on site just before class.

Wellbeing Room – Collection point for parents: MUGA green gates off playground
Term Dates:
Spring Term 2025 Dates: 9 classes on 12th Jan, 19th Jan, 2nd Feb, 9th Feb, 23rd Feb, 2nd Mar, 9th Mar, 16th Mar, 23rd Mar (no class on 26th Jan film night, or 16th Feb half-term)

All members to join at the start of the term. Refunds and/or cancellations will only be accepted up to 7 days before the start of the term unless the space can be sold to somebody else.
