Description

Yogamoo™ is delighted to offer a Children Yoga School Club at Hoe Bridge School to pre-prep children in Y1 and Y2 year groups. The club runs in sessions of 45 minutes over 10-12 weeks each term in groups of maximum 12 children. Children wear their PE clothes and practice over gym mats with their instructor.

Objectives
Children Yoga aims to help children develop a sense of awareness of their body and emotions through exercise, sound, Breathing, balance, games, storytelling and Relaxation. It is a fun practice that offers to all children the opportunity to express themselves through their body in a controlled, precise and fun way.

Who’s it for?
Children Yoga at Hoe Bridge School is currently offered to Y1 and Y2 children as an After School Club in groups of 12 children of the school.

Prerequisites
No experience required

What To Bring
Children practice barefoot on Fitness Mats with their instructor. The class will follow school guidelines for equipment use.

Clothing
Their School PE Kit or leggings/tracksuit bottoms and Tshirt. Bring all your belongings with you to the Yoga club as children will be taken to the pick up point at the end of the class.

Location
Music Room – please collect from the playground gates at 4.15pm

Autumn Term 2026 Dates: 12 classes on 4th Sept, 11th Sept 18th Sept, 25th Sept, 2nd Oct, 9th Oct, 16th Oct, 6th Nov, 13th Nov, 20th Nov, 27th Nov, 4th Dec (no class on 23rd Oct or 30th Oct half-term)
