Description

Yogamoo™ is delighted to offer a Children Yoga School Club at Atwood Primary School from Y2 to Y4 year groups. The club runs in sessions of 60 minutes over 8 weeks each term in groups of maximum 15 children. Children wear their PE clothes and practice over gym mats with their instructor.

Objectives
Children Yoga aims to help children develop a sense of awareness of their body and emotions through exercise, sound, Breathing, balance, games, storytelling and Relaxation. It is a fun practice that offers to all children the opportunity to express themselves through their body in a controlled, precise and fun way.

Who’s it for?
Children Yoga at Atwood Primary School is currently offered to Y2-Y4 children as an After School Club in the Hall in groups of 15 children of the school.

What To Bring
Children practice barefoot on Fitness Mats with their instructor. The class will follow school guidelines for equipment use.

Clothing
Their School PE Kit or leggings/tracksuit bottoms and Tshirt. Bring all your belongings with you to the Yoga club as children will be taken to the pick up point at the end of the class.

Collect from the Hall doors at 4.15pm

Summer Term 2026 Dates: 9 classes on 1st May, 8th May, 15th May, 22nd May, 5th Jun, 12th Jun, 19th Jun, 26th Jun, 3rd July (no class on 29th May half-term)
