Meath Green Infant School

Objectives
Children Yoga aims to help children develop a sense of awareness of their body and emotions through exercise, sound, Breathing, balance, games, storytelling and Relaxation. It is a fun practice that offers to all children the opportunity to express themselves through their body in a controlled, precise and fun way.

Who’s it for?
Children Yoga at Meath Green Infant School is currently offered to Year 1 and Year 2 children an After School Club in the Gym in groups of max 12 children of the school.

Prerequisites
No experience required

What To Bring
Children practice barefoot (usually) with their instructor. Mats are provided.

Clothing
Their School PE Kit or leggings/tracksuit bottoms and Tshirt. Bring all your belongings with you to the Yoga club as children will be taken to the pick up point at the end of the class on the playground

Location
Cherry Classroom – collect from the main school front gates at 4.15pm

Autumn Term remaining dates: 4th Nov, 11th Nov, 18th Nov, 25th Nov, 2nd Dec, 9th Dec

Spring Term 2025 Dates: 9 Sessions on 13th Jan, 20th Jan, 27th Jan, 3rd Feb, 10th Feb, 24th Feb, 3rd Mar, 10th Mar, 17th Mar  (no class on 17th Feb Half Term)

3.15pm to 4.15pm on Tuesdays

Booking Terms and Conditions
All members to join at the start of the term. Refunds and/or cancellations will only be accepted up to 7 days before the start of the term unless the space can be sold to somebody else.
